Walter E. "Stormy" Deacon, III

Partner

Walter "Stormy" Deacon has been practicing law in Northwest Pennsylvania for over ten years.  Approximately 90% of his practice involves litigation in federal and state courts and administrative agencies throughout the region and on a national level.

One half of his practice is devoted to labor and employment law, where Attorney Deacon provides counseling, legal advice, representation and litigation services to businesses and executives.  The other half of his practice involves commercial litigation, representing creditors in commercial matters and immigration law.

Within the community, Attorney Deacon is the President of the Board of Directors of Community Shelter Services, Inc., which is a local non-profit organization that is the largest provider of emergency shelter and transitional housing to the homeless in Erie County.  This past year, he again participated in the Attorney and Kids Together program which is the signature community project for the Erie County Bar where attorneys are paired with students from one of several local shelters for mentoring over a four month period.
