On Tuesday, April 20, 2010, MacDonald Illig partner Jon Woodard presented "Protecting Intellectual Property Rights" at the "Doing Business in China" conference at Grove City College. The presentation covered basic business strategies for developing and protecting intellectual property portfolios from competition in China.
Attendees had the opportunity to compare strategies included in the presentation to their own individual business situations by participating in one-on-one sessions both with Mr. Woodard and Trade Representatives from the China-Beijing and China-Shanghai PA trade offices who were in attendance. Attendees also received China market briefings and information on how to proactively respond to import competition from China (Trade Adjustment Assistance).
