Craig Murphey, senior partner and Chair of MacDonald Illig's Insurance practice group, will serve on a panel of attorneys at the Erie County Bar Association's Lunch-n-Learn Seminar on Joint and Several Liability on Tuesday, August 30, 2011.
Mr. Murphey joins attorneys Eric J. Purchase and S.E. "Tim" Riley, Jr. to address important changes made to the law of joint and several liability under SB 1131, Act 17, effective June 28, 2011. The panel will discuss the implications of the changes to the law for both plaintiff and defense practitioners in future motor vehicle, premises liability, products liability, and professional negligence cases.
