MacDonald Illig Associate to Be Honored at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Erie's Finest Event

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation ("CFF") in Erie, PA will be hosting the First Annual "Erie’s Finest" campaign to raise critical funds needed for research in finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

This prestigious event pays tribute to Erie business professionals who are up and coming within the community.  Marissa Savastana Watts, an Associate in MacDonald Illig's Litigation and Labor & Employment Practice Groups, will be honored as one of "Erie's Finest" young professionals at the event.

During the "Erie's Finest" campaign, which kicked off in August, each honoree takes on the role of finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis by raising critical funds for research.  As an honoree, they are given the opportunity to network with other young professionals, align themselves with a charity, give back to the community, and help make a difference in the lives of so many families. The event culminates with a ceremony that recognizes these amazing rising stars for what they have accomplished.  The honorees have collectively pledged to raise over $33,000 for Cystic Fibrosis research.

A finale reception and ceremony honoring "Erie’s Finest" will be held on November 19th, 2011 at the Bel Aire Hotel. Guests at this cocktail attire event will have the opportunity to mingle, bid for a cure, bid on a silent auction and commemorate this inaugural year’s honorees.
