MacDonald Illig is proud to announce that Patrick J. Mondi was recently commissioned a first lieutenant in the United States Army and is now part of the 153rd Legal Services Organization, an Army Reserve Unit based in Norristown, PA.
Patrick is currently attending the 181st Judge Advocate Officer Basic Course, which is comprised of three separate courses. He first reported to Fort Lee, Virginia on February 7, 2010 for Basic Officer Leadership Camp I. At Fort Lee, he and his class of 105 Judge Advocates performed basic field combat and tactical exercises.
On February 22, 2010, Patrick reported to the Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School, which is located on the University of Virginia campus, to begin a 10-week classroom-based training in military law, with an emphasis on administrative law, trial advocacy, government contracting and criminal law.
The final part of Patrick's active duty assignment is a 6-week Direct Commission course at Fort Benning, Georgia. He will finish the program in June and return to active practice at MacDonald Illig in July, 2010.
