Alberstadt Becomes President of Erie County Bar Association

Effective January 1, 2010, MacDonald Illig senior partner J.W. Alberstadt, Jr. will serve as President of the Erie County Bar Association in 2010. Mr. Alberstadt acted as a Director and Vice President of the Erie County Bar Association in 2009 and has been on the Board for the past four years. He concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, commercial and economic development, and estate planning and administration, representing individuals, business entities, lending institutions, municipal authorities and development agencies. Mr. Alberstadt handles matters ranging from residential real estate transactions to detailed title and development issues. He also provides representation in commercial financings and tax-exempt municipal, industrial development and 501(c)(3) bond issues.
