Two MacDonald Illig Partners Recognized as 2014 Pennsylvania Rising Stars in Super Lawyers Publication

Nicholas R. Pagliari and Michael P. Thomas have been selected to the 2014 Pennsylvania Rising Stars list. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor.

Mr. Pagliari is a Partner with MacDonald Illig. As a member of the firm's Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Group, he focuses his practice in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy, bankruptcy related litigation and collection matters. He primarily represents corporate debtors, secured creditors, unsecured creditor committees, and other persons and entities involved in bankruptcy proceedings.  Mr. Pagliari has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Rising Star for each of the past four years.

Mr. Thomas is a Partner with MacDonald Illig. As a member of the firm's Trusts & Estates Group, Mr. Thomas assists individuals, closely held companies, and larger entities on a wide variety of estate planning, estate and trust administration, wealth transfer, succession planning, tax, and business matters.  Mr. Thomas routinely works with clients on the design and implementation of both basic and complex estate plans that focus on accomplishing the client's individual objectives and minimizing the related tax consequences.
