Associate
Ross Petrini is an associate with MacDonald Illig. Mr. Petrini focuses his practice primarily in litigation and bankruptcy. His litigation practice is composed of commercial litigation, insurance defense and collection litigation. Mr. Petrini's bankruptcy practice consists primarily of creditor rights work including the defense of preference actions, establishment of creditors' rights in bankruptcy, business reorganizations and residential mortgage foreclosures.
As part of his litigation practice, Mr. Petrini has successfully represented insurance companies and their insureds in numerous arbitrations and settled many actions favorably for his clients.
Mr. Petrini has significant experience assisting banks, credit unions and local businesses in the collection of money both prior to and while the debtor is involved in the bankruptcy process.
Mr. Petrini is originally from Pittsburgh but grew to love the Erie area while attending college at Edinboro University. Prior to moving to Erie, and while he attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, he worked for the District Attorney's Office of Allegheny County and worked as an associate for Thomas Will & Associates.
