Bio
Ashley's ability to listen carefully allows clients to know that their concerns are being taken seriously. A strategic thinker, Ashley is a good fit in the firm's Commercial/General Litigation Practice Group and the Insurance/Personal Injury Practice group.
While at Michigan State, Ashley earned a Steiger Fellowship, where she worked for the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General in the Bureau of Consumer Protection. She also worked as a law clerk at two personal injury firms. Ashley feels that her time at both of these personal injury firms will help her in her practice at MacDonald Illig, as she has experience assisting people on the other side of the aisle. She has been interested in pursuing a legal career in litigation since she began law school. As a member of Michigan State's prestigious Trial Practice Institute, Ashley was selected to be a member of this program, where she earned a litigation certificate. She feels that her time in this program was a helpful base to her litigation knowledge, and she looks forward to continue utilizing these skills while she helps clients tackle their challenges head on.
During her undergraduate studies at Penn State Behrend, Ashley loved living in Erie and its vibrant community. She volunteered at the Mercy Center for Women, with Penn State Behrend's TOPS Soccer program, and as a volleyball coach for EPIC. Her time and experiences in Erie inspired her to return upon graduation from law school and she looks forward to growing her career here.
