Ashley is an attorney at MacDonald Illig and a member of the firm’s Commercial/General Litigation and Insurance/Personal Injury Practice Groups. She focuses her practice on insurance defense and civil litigation matters. Ashley works with clients to defend claims involving personal injury, property damage, and liability disputes, providing thoughtful analysis and strategic advocacy throughout the litigation process.

Experience and Professional Background

While attending Michigan State University College of Law, Ashley earned a Steiger Fellowship, where she worked with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General in the Bureau of Consumer Protection.

She also gained practical litigation experience while clerking at two personal injury law firms. This experience helped shape her work in insurance defense and civil litigation.

Ashley earned a litigation certification through Michigan State’s Trial Practice Institute, where she developed skills in courtroom advocacy and trial preparation that she now applies in her legal practice.

Community Connection

Ashley developed a strong connection to Erie during her undergraduate studies at Penn State Behrend. After graduating from law school, she returned to Erie to begin her legal career and continues to build her practice in the region.
