Her practice focuses on estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, and business law. During law school and prior to joining MacDonald Illig, Emilie focused her practice on real estate law. She later expanded her practice to include estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, and business transactions.

Her background in both real estate and estate planning allows her to assist clients with a broad range of personal and business-related legal matters.

Education and Academic Background

Emilie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from Gannon University. Her undergraduate studies provided a strong foundation for both law school and her legal practice.

She earned her Juris Doctor from Duquesne University in 2017. During law school, Emilie participated in the university’s Study Abroad program in Ireland and was a published Junior Staff member of the Duquesne University Business Law Journal.
