Bio

Born and raised in Erie, Stephen is a curiosity-driven attorney committed to achieving results for his clients and the Erie community. Stephen takes initiative and pride in deeply understanding the legal issues of his clients and applying himself to achieve the best possible outcomes. Stephen is a member of MacDonald Illig's Business Transactions and Trust & Estates Practice groups.

Prior to law school, Stephen attended Gannon University where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Pre-Medicine Biology. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law. While at Dayton, Stephen led several student organizations as well as served as a staff writer on the school's law review. Before joining MacDonald Illig, Stephen gained valuable experience as a law clerk at a personal injury law firm in Dayton and at a national, nonprofit managed care organization, where he honed his legal writing and research and worked on matters involving business, compliance, and healthcare law.

Stephen focuses his practice on M&A transactions, business law, and trust and estate planning. He treats each client matter as a partnership built on trust and communication, striving to provide clear, practical guidance that allows clients to make confident decisions. Deeply rooted in his hometown, Stephen is dedicated to using his skills and experience to support the continued growth and success of Erie, and the Northwest Pennsylvania region.
