MacDonald Illig recently represented the owner of a natural gas pipeline in a $70,000,000 pipeline construction project. The developer constructed a new pipeline running through Erie County, Pennsylvania and Ashtabula County, Ohio to provide service to Ashtabula County from a pre-existing pipeline in Pennsylvania. 

MacDonald Illig's business lawyers assisted with significant aspects of the transaction, including the bond issue to finance the construction project and negotiation of the related Note Purchase Agreement and the corresponding pipeline construction agreements. MacDonald Illig also represented the owner during the process of obtaining preliminary government financing.  

Throughout the project, MacDonald Illig acted as day to day counsel and advised the developer on a variety of the deal components including construction and right of way acquisition issues.
