Modified Duty & Return to Work Programs

Returning an injured employee to a modified duty position is beneficial both to the employee and the employer. It is therapeutic for the employee and provides cost containment for the employer. Our Workers' Compensation Practice Group attorneys work collaboratively with employers to return an injured employee to work, either to their original position or to a modified duty position. We assist employers in all aspects of returning an employee to work, including securing medical documentation of the employee's medical restrictions and their ability to return to work, preparing and issuing Workers' Compensation Bureau documentation, and preparing written confirmation of a modified duty job offer. All of this is critical in successfully returning the injured employee to work.
