Defense Verdict in Erie County Court of Common Pleas

Attorney Bruce Decker secured a defense verdict for his clients during the October 2013 trial term in Erie County, Pennsylvania.  The plaintiff, a tenant living in an apartment owned by Mr. Decker’s clients, was injured while crossing a driveway shared with a neighbor.  At trial, the plaintiff alleged that the defendant landowner had breached the lease and that the defendant neighbor had negligently maintained the property.  The jury found no negligence and returned a verdict against the plaintiff on all claims.
