Favorable Verdict in Warren County Arbitration

Attorney Schumacher recently secured a defense verdict for a commercial concrete contractor in a Warren County arbitration. The plaintiff alleged over $25,000 in water damage to the basement of his home as the result of the contractor's work. The defense maintained that the contractor's work was not the cause of the alleged water damage, arguing there was insufficient evidence to establish that the contractor's caused an internal pipe to break or that the break occurred while the contractor was on the property. The arbitration panel of three attorney's returned a defense verdict in favor of the defendant, awarding zero damages to the plaintiff.
