U.S. Department of Labor Publishes Model FFCRA Notice

Under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”) employees are granted rights to Emergency Paid Sick Leave and Emergency FMLA.  The FFCRA requires employers to post, and keep posted, notice of its employees’ rights under the FFCRA.  The notice language in the FFCRA mirrors the requirements for other federal postings, i.e. it must be posted “in conspicuous places on the premises of the employer where notices to employees are customarily posted.”

Recently, the U.S. Department of Labor issued a model notice that employers can use to satisfy their obligations to post notice under the FFCRA.  A copy of the model notice is linked below in this alert.
