Decker Wins Defense Verdict in Premises Liability Claim

Bruce L. Decker, Jr., a partner in the MacDonald Illig Litigation practice group, recently secured a defense verdict in a jury trial in the Court of Common Pleas of Warren County, Pennsylvania in January of 2012. The plaintiff alleged permanent injuries to his leg and foot and loss of earnings and earning capacity and sought damages in excess of $650,000 as a result of a purported condition in a commercial client’s building. The jury found no negligence on the part of the commercial client and a defense verdict was awarded.
