Amendments to Oil and Gas Act, Marcellus Shale Legislation Now Law

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett recently signed House Bill 1950 which amends the Pennsylvania Oil and Gas Act and also provides for impact fees for Marcellus Shale wells. The new legislation also limits local municipalities' ability to restrict oil and gas operations.
