Grace is an attorney at MacDonald Illig and a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Practice Group. She focuses her practice on estate planning and estate administration, working with individuals and families to help them plan for the future and navigate important legal decisions. Grace is committed to helping clients achieve peace of mind through thoughtful guidance and careful planning

Experience and Professional Background
Prior to joining MacDonald Illig, Grace worked at a general civil practice firm where she gained experience in a variety of legal areas, including trusts and estates, real estate transactions, landlord-tenant disputes, personal injury claims, and business formation. This experience supports her current focus on estate planning and estate administration.
Education and Early Experience
Grace earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, with a minor in writing, from Kent State University. During her undergraduate studies, she interned with a non-governmental organization in Geneva, Switzerland focused on advancing women’s access to higher and continuing education
She earned her Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, with a concentration in civil litigation. While in law school, Grace and her classmates were featured in Pennsylvania Bar News for submitting co-written letters to the Disciplinary Board and the Continuing Legal Education Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in support of the proposed Rule of Professional Conduct 8.4(g).
During her legal studies, Grace gained experience clerking for a large personal injury firm during her third year of law school. She also held internships with a midsize criminal defense and unfair creditor action firm, and with an in-house legal team.
