Attorney Bruce Decker recently secured a defense verdict for his client, a car dealership, in the Erie County Court of Common Pleas.

The plaintiff was taking a vehicle for a test drive when she was involved in an accident. The plaintiff claimed she sustained neck, mid and low back injuries and alleged she required ongoing treatment for pain and limitations.  Attorney Decker argued the defendant was not liable for the accident and challenged the alleged causation of the injuries to the relatively minor accident.  Mr. Decker also pointed out the inconsistencies in the plaintiff’s testimony, noting that she did not seek treatment until several days after the accident and traveled outside of the country for an extended period of time in the year after the accident.
