Decker Wins Defense Verdict in Premises Liability Suit

Bruce L. Decker, Jr., a partner in the MacDonald Illig Litigation practice group, was recently awarded a defense verdict in a jury trial which took place in the Court of Common Pleas of Erie County, Pennsylvania in February 2010. The slip and fall case involved serious injuries allegedly sustained as a result of the purported condition of a commercial client's parking lot. The plaintiff sought damages in excess of $325,000, but the jury concluded the commercial client had not been negligent, and a defense verdict was awarded.
