Taft and Delaney Recognized as 2013 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers

MacDonald, Illig, Jones & Britton LLP is pleased to announce that partners Roger H. Taft and W. Patrick Delaney have been selected as 2013 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.  The Pennsylvania Super Lawyers designation is awarded to only the top 5% of all Pennsylvania attorneys following a selection process that includes peer nominations, an evaluation of professional achievement, and independent research of the candidates.

Mr. Taft is a principal trial lawyer at MacDonald Illig and serves as co-chair of the firm's Labor & Employment practice group.  He concentrates his practice on employment litigation, including employment discrimination and wrongful discharge cases, and complex commercial litigation.  In his litigation practice, Mr. Taft represents clients in federal and state courts throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio, as well as in federal courts throughout the United States.  This marks the seventh consecutive year in which Mr. Taft has received the Pennsylvania Super Lawyer distinction.  

Mr. Delaney is a trial attorney with MacDonald Illig and chair of the firm’s Litigation Department.  He has experience litigating a wide variety of matters, from shareholder disputes to personal injury.  In general, the focus of his practice is commercial litigation.  During the course of his career, Mr. Delaney has litigated disputes in the federal and state courts throughout Pennsylvania and in various other jurisdictions. He has also handled numerous complex commercial disputes before arbitration tribunals, including panels convened through the American Arbitration Association and the International Chamber of Commerce.
