Can I keep the purchase of my property confidential?

Usually, no. Your deed is recorded in the county recorder of deeds records and is a public record. Many newspapers collect and publish public records. You could consider owning the property in a trust or through a legal entity, such as a limited liability company, but those options will involve additional time and costs.
